This summer the Spangler lab was very lucky to host visiting REU student Amanda Richardson from the University of South Florida! Amanda completed some excellent research developing a protein secretion system in E. coli for continuous manufacturing. She presented her work at the REU poster session at the end of the program. Her work was supported by funding from the Build Back Better Regional Challenge Award through EDA.
We all miss having Amanda in lab and wish her the best in her future endeavors!
